When AI Photography Creates Zombies... (Honor Magic8 Pro vs. realme GT 8 Pro) 🧟♂️📸
Plus: Why my fence started glitching out and the uncompressed photo samples YouTube doesn’t want you to see.
The full comparison between the Honor Magic 8Pro and the realme GT 8 Pro is finally live on YouTube.
These are two absolute flagship beasts, but during my testing, I found some results that are... let’s call them “disturbing.”

But as we all know, YouTube compression crushes fine details. That’s why I wanted to show you the raw truth right here.
1. The “Walking Dead” Incident 🧟♀️
Both phones use heavy AI processing at high zoom levels. Usually, this sharpens the image. But sometimes, the AI hallucinates.
Check out this crop from the night test. The Honor Magic8 Pro tried to reconstruct a woman’s face on a billboard. The result isn’t photography—it’s a horror movie.
2. The Glitchy Fence 📉
You might have noticed the fence behind me flickering in the video. That’s not a rendering error; it’s physics fighting with over-sharpening.
The fine lines of the fence clash with the sensor’s pixel grid. Since both phones (especially the realme) apply aggressive sharpening, the fence looks like it’s bugging out of a video game.
